ahmad:12592 – Surayj And Yūnus b. Muḥammad > Ḥammād > Thābitālbunānī > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ was with one of his women, when a man passed by and said, "O so and so, this is my wife." The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, I thought it was someone else. I did not think it was you." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, Satan runs through the son of Adam like the flow of blood."  

أحمد:١٢٥٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ وَيُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍالْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَعَ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ فَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا فُلَانُ هَذِهِ امْرَأَتِي فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ بِهِ فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ أَظُنُّ بِكَ قَالَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَجْرِي مِنْ ابْنِ آدَمَ مَجْرَى الدَّمِ

0 so and so, she was my such and such wife. Thereupon he said, Messenger of Allah, if I were to doubt at all, I would have entertained no doubt about you at least. Thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Verily Satan circulates in the body like blood.  

مسلم:٢١٧٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ مَعَ إِحْدَى نِسَائِهِ فَمَرَّ بِهِ رَجُلٌ فَدَعَاهُ فَجَاءَ فَقَالَ يَا فُلاَنُ هَذِهِ زَوْجَتِي فُلاَنَةُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ بِهِ فَلَمْ أَكُنْ أَظُنُّ بِكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَجْرِي مِنَ الإِنْسَانِ مَجْرَى الدَّمِ

[Machine] "While the Prophet ﷺ was with one of his wives, a man passed by and the Prophet ﷺ said, 'O so-and-so, this is so-and-so, my wife.' The man replied, 'O Messenger of Allah, who was I supposed to assume her to be? For I would never assume such a thing about you.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Satan runs through the veins of the son of Adam as blood does.'"  

أحمد:١٤٠٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ
