[Machine] I heard Abu Sa'id say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood in Arafah and began to supplicate in this manner. He placed the back of his hands on his face, raised them above his shoulders and below his ears."  

أحمد:١١٨٠٦حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ يَقُولُ وَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِعَرَفَةَ فَجَعَلَ يَدْعُو هَكَذَا وَجَعَلَ ظَهْرَ كَفَّيْهِ مِمَّا يَلِي وَجْهَهُ وَرَفَعَهُمَا فَوْقَ ثَنْدُوَتِهِ وَأَسْفَلَ مِنْ مَنْكِبَيْهِ
