[Machine] We used to give the Sadaqatul Fitr (charity of breaking the fast) during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as a sa' (a unit of measurement) of barley, a sa' of dates, a sa' of raisins, and a sa' of dried yogurt. When Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) came, the two black women (who used to distribute the charity) came and he saw that their measures (of distribution) differed.  

أحمد:١١٦٩٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيَاضُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

كُنَّا نُؤَدِّي صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ صَاعًا مِنْ زَبِيبٍ صَاعًا مِنْ أَقِطٍ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُعَاوِيَةُ جَاءَتِ السَّمْرَاءُ فَرَأَى أَنَّ مُدًّا يَعْدِلُ مُدَّيْنِ
