ahmad:11247Isḥāq b. ʿĪsá > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Bishr b. Ḥarb > Ibn ʿUmar Atá Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

[Machine] "Oh Abu Sa'id, did I not inform you that you pledged allegiance to two leaders before people gathered around one leader? He said, "Yes, I pledged allegiance to Ibn Zubayr, then the people of Sham (Syria) brought me to Hubaysh ibn Dalaajah, so I pledged allegiance to him." Ibn Umar said, "I feared that you pledged allegiance twice." Hamad added with his voice, "Abu Sa'id, O Abu Abdur-Rahman, did you not hear that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever is able to not sleep, wake up in the morning, and go to bed in the evening without being under the authority of an Amir?' He said, "Yes, but I hate to pledge allegiance to two leaders before people gather around one leader."
