[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ prohibited him from doing so and forbade him from facing the Qibla while urinating. This is narrated by Ibn Lahi'ah from Abu Zubair, who said: I asked Jabir about a man who drinks while standing, and he said: We used to dislike that. Then he mentioned the narration of Abu Sa'eed.  

أحمد:١١١١٧حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَنِي جَابِرٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَشْهَدُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ زَجَرَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ وَزَجَرَهُ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ لِبَوْلٍ وَهَذَا يَتْلُو حَدِيثَ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَشْرَبُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ فَقَالَ كُنَّا نَكْرَهُ ذَاكَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ
