[Machine] I heard Marwan say to Abu Hurayrah, "O Abu Hurayrah, tell me a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'A man will soon wish that he is born to the Thuraiya and that he knows nothing about the affairs of the people.' I heard him say, 'The destruction of the Arabs will be at the hands of a young man from the Quraysh.' Marwan said, 'How terrible is that youth!'"  

أحمد:١٠٩٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ وَهَاشِمٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ الْعَامِرِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ مَرْوَانَ يَقُولُ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِّثْنِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَيُوشِكَنَّ رَجُلٌ يَتَمَنَّى أَنَّهُ خَرَّ مِنْ عِنْدِ الثُّرَيَّا وَأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَلِ مِنْ أَمْرِ النَّاسِ شَيْئًا قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ هَلَاكَ الْعَرَبِ عَلَى أَيْدِي غِلْمَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ لَبِئْسَ الْغِلْمَةُ أُولَئِكَ

قِيلَ لِمَرْوَانَ هَذَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَى الْبَابِ قَالَ ائْذَنُوا لَهُ قَالَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَوْشَكَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَتَمَنَّى أَنَّهُ خَرَّ مِنَ الثُّرَيَّا وَأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَتَوَلَّ أَوْ يَلِ شَكَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مِنْ أَمْرِ النَّاسِ شَيْئًا قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ هَلَاكَ الْعَرَبِ بِيَدَيْ فِتْيَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ قَالَ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ بِئْسَ وَاللهِ الْفِتْيَةُ هَؤُلَاءِ
