ahmad-zuhd:818ʿAbdullāh from my father > ʿAmr b. Ayyūb > Jaʿfar > Maymūn > Ḥudhayfah And Salmān Nazalā > Nabaṭiyyah Falammā Ḥaḍarat al-Ṣalāh

[Machine] Huzaifa and Salman stayed in a Nabatiyah (a place name) and when the prayer time came, they said, "Here is a clean place, let us pray in it." She (the other person) said, "Cleanse your heart." He (one of them) said to the other, "Take it as a wise word from the heart of a disbeliever."  

الزهد لأحمد:٨١٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أَنْبَأَنَا جَعْفَرٌ عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ

حُذَيْفَةُ وَسَلْمَانُ نَزَلَا عَلَى نَبَطِيَّةٍ فَلَمَّا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ قَالَا هَا هُنَا مَكَانٌ طَاهِرٌ نُصَلِّي فِيهِ قَالَتْ طَهِّرْ قَلْبَكَ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِلْآخَرِ خُذْهَا كَلِمَةَ حِكَمٍ مِنْ قَلْبِ كَافِرٍ
