[Machine] To be a prince? And what would suffice for me every day is a sip of water or milk, and on Fridays a loaf of wheat bread.  

الزهد لأحمد:٨٠٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ قَالَ قِيلَ أَلَا تَتَّخِذُ ضَيْعَةً كَمَا اتَّخَذَ فُلَانٌ وَفُلَانٌ؟ قَالَ مَا أَصْنَعُ

بِأَنْ أَكُونَ أَمِيرًا؟ وَإِنَّ مَا يَكْفِينِي فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ شَرْبَةُ مَاءٍ أَوْ لَبَنٍ وَفِي الْجُمْعَةِ قَفِيزٌ مِنْ قَمْحٍ
