ahmad-zuhd:735ʿAbdullāh from my father > ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > ʿAbdullāh b. Bujayr > Abū ʿAbd Rabbih > Abū al-Dardāʾ Mā Yasurrunī

[Machine] "To climb the stairs from the door of the mosque, then buy and sell, and earn three hundred dinars every day. I witness all prayers in the mosque. What do I say? Indeed, Allah has not made buying prohibited and forbidden interest, but I prefer to be among those whom [neither business nor trade distracts them from the remembrance of Allah]." [Al-Nur: 37]  

الزهد لأحمد:٧٣٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُجَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ مَا يَسُرُّنِي

أَنْ أَقُومَ عَلَى الدَّرَجِ مِنْ بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَشْتَرِيَ وَأَبِيعَ فَأُصِيبَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثَلَاثَمِائَةِ دِينَارٍ أَشْهَدُ الصَّلَاةَ كُلَّهَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ مَا أَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ لَمْ يُحِلَّ الْبَيْعَ وَيُحَرِّمِ الرِّبَا وَلَكِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ {لَا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ} [النور 37]
