[Machine] On his father's authority, Abu Muhammad narrated that there was a worshipper from the Children of Israel who used to worship in a cell. When a group of wrongdoers saw him, they said, "If we were able to tempt him with something, we would have done so." They went to a sinful woman and said to her, "Offer yourself to him." So she approached him on a dark and rainy night while he was in prayer, with a burning lantern in his room. He did not even look at her. She said, "O slave of Allah, the darkness and rain have brought me to you." He did not respond. She continued, "O slave of Allah, the darkness and rain have brought me to you." Still, he did not respond. She continued this until she reached him and entered his cell. She laid down, and he remained standing in prayer. She began to turn and show him her beauty until he was tempted by his own soul. He said, "No, by Allah, until I see how you withstand the fire." He approached the lantern and placed one of his fingers in it until it burnt. He said, "Then he returned to his prayer, and once again his soul called him. He returned to the lantern and again placed his finger in it until it burnt." He said, "Then he returned to his prayer, and once again his soul called him."
