[Machine] I never lift a foot or put it down without thinking that I have died. He asked, "How could you maintain such devotion to Allah?" He replied, "I never saw anyone who heard about Paradise and Hell and did not dedicate a moment to praying in them." The man said, "I stand in prayer and cry until the blisters grow from the tears of my eyes or they almost grow." The monk said to him, "If you were to laugh while acknowledging your mistake to Allah, it would be better for you than crying while being proud of your actions. For the prayer of the proud does not rise above him." He said, "Give me advice." He said, "I advise you to be detached from the world and not to argue with its people. And be like the bee, for if it consumes, it consumes what is good. And if it settles, it settles on what is good. And if it falls on a branch, it does not harm or break it. I advise you to sincerely advise Allah, like the dog who is hungry and is driven away, but still refuses to abandon his owners and continues to protect them and advise them."
