ahmad-zuhd:2277ʿAbdullāh > Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Ḥakam b. Mūsá > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mubārak > al-Awzāʿī > Bilāl b. Saʿd

[Machine] I heard Bilal ibn Saad saying, "Many are the happy people who are actually being deceived and are unaware. They eat, drink, and laugh, while it is already decreed for them in the Book of Allah that they are fuel for the Fire."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٢٧٧حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ بِلَالَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ يَقُولُ «رُبَّ مَسْرُورٍ مَغْبُونٌ وَلَا يَشْعُرُ يَأْكُلُ [313] وَيُشْرَبُ وَيَضْحَكُ وَقَدْ حَقَّ لَهُ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ مِنْ وَقُودِ النَّارِ»
