[Machine] I heard Umm al-Banin, the sister of Umar ibn Abdul Aziz, say, "Woe to miserliness! By Allah, if there was a path that I did not take, or a garment that I did not wear."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢١٥٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُتْبَةَ الْحِمْصِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ الْبَنِينَ أُخْتَ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ تَقُولُ «أُفٍّ لِلْبُخْلِ وَاللَّهِ لَوْ كَانَ طَرِيقًا مَا سَلَكْتُهُ وَلَوْ كَانَ ثَوْبًا مَا لَبِسْتُهُ»
