[Machine] I dreamt that I came to a river and someone said to me, "Drink and give drink to whoever you wish with your patience, and you were one of those who restrain themselves."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢١١٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي غَالِبٍ [295] حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَنْبَأَنَا الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ

أُرِيتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنِّي أَتَيْتُ عَلَى نَهْرٍ فَقِيلَ لِي اشْرَبْ وَاسْقِ مَنْ شِئْتَ بِمَا صَبَرْتَ وَكُنْتَ مِنَ الْكَاظِمِينَ
