[Machine] That a thief used to pray until his feet were swollen, and his wife would sit and cry over what he did to himself.  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٠٤١حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ امْرَأَةِ مَسْرُوقٍ

أَنَّ مَسْرُوقًا كَانَ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى توْرَمَ قَدَمَاهُ وَتَجْلِسُ امْرَأَتُهُ فَتَبْكِي مِمَّا يَصْنَعُ بِنَفْسِهِ
