الزهد لأحمد:١٩٦٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ أَنَّهُ أَوْصَى عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ فَقَالَ «هَذَا مَا أَقَرَّ بِهِ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَأَشْهَدَ اللَّهَ ﷻ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا وَجَازِيًا لِعِبَادِهِ الصَّالِحِينَ وَمُثِيبًا بِأَنِّي رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَرَضِيتُ لِنَفْسِي وَمَنْ أَطَاعَنِي

بِأَنْ أَعْبُدَهُ فِي الْعَابِدِينَ وَأَحْمَدَهُ فِي الْحَامِدِينَ وَأَنْصَحَ لِجَمَاعَةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ»
