[Machine] Spring used to say, "There is no good in speech except in the glorification of Allah, praising Allah, declaring the greatness of Allah, proclaiming the purity of Allah, and asking for good from you. Seeking refuge in you from evil, commanding what is good and forbidding what is evil, and your recitation of the Quran."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٩٤٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نُسَيْرِ بْنِ ذُعْلُوقٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مَاعِزٍ قَالَ

كَانَ الرَّبِيعُ يَقُولُ «لَا خَيْرَ فِي كَلَامٍ إِلَّا فِي تَهْلِيلِ اللَّهِ وَتَحْمِيدِ اللَّهِ وَتَكْبِيرِ اللَّهِ وَتَسْبِيحِ اللَّهِ وَسُؤَالِكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَتُعَوُّذِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ وَأَمْرِكَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهْيِكَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وقِرَاءَتِكَ الْقُرْآنَ»
