ahmad-zuhd:1886ʿAbdullāh from my father > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Mahdī > Jaʿfar > Mālik b. Dīnār

[Machine] I heard Malik ibn Dinar saying, "Indeed, the hearts of the believers boil with righteous deeds, and the hearts of the wicked boil with evil deeds. And Allah, the Almighty, sees your concerns, may Allah have mercy on you."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٨٨٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ مَالِكَ بْنَ دِينَارٍ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ صُدُورَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ تَغْلِي بِأَعْمَالِ الْبِرِّ وَإِنَّ صُدُورَ الْفُجَّارِ تَغْلِي بِأَعْمَالِ الْفُجُورِ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى يَرَى هُمُومَكُمْ رَحِمَكُمُ اللَّهُ»
