[Machine] A man gave Al-Hasan nine bags of sugar and a moon which contained ten thousand dirhams. He returned the ten thousand dirhams and said, "We cannot afford to reward this." He accepted the nine bags of sugar.  

الزهد لأحمد:١٦٦١حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْيَمَانِ عَنْ شَبِيبِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ قَالَ

أَهْدَى رَجُلٌ لِلْحَسَنِ تِسْعَ سِلَالِ سُكَّرٍ وَبَدْرَةً فِيهَا عَشَرَةُ آلَافِ دِرْهَمٍ فَرَدَّ الْعَشَرَةَ آلَافٍ وَقَالَ لَا نُطِيقُ مُكَافَأَةَ هَذَا وَقَبِلَ التِّسْعَ سِلَالِ سُكَّرٍ
