ahmad-zuhd:1611ʿAbdullāh from my father > Rawḥ > Hishām > al-Ḥasan

[Machine] "Indeed, a man may enter a space, sit in a gathering, or eat a meal, and his heart may change. So beware of entering the houses of the affluent, for entering them changes the heart of a man, and he becomes displeased with what is in his hands."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٦١١حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

«إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَدْخُلُ الْمَدْخَلَ وَيَجْلِسُ الْمَجْلِسَ أَوْ يَأْكُلُ الْأَكْلَةَ فَيُغَيَّرُ قَلْبُهُ فَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالدُّخُولَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْبَسْطَةِ فَإِنَّ الدُّخُولَ عَلَيْهِمْ يُغَيِّرُ قَلْبَ الرَّجُلِ فَيَتَسَخَّطُ مَا فِي يَدَيْهِ»
