[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the most merciful of people towards children. He had a son who was breastfed in a part of the city of Madinah, and his breast grew and he would come to him while we were with him, and the house would be filled with the scent of incense and he would smell it and kiss him, then he would return.  

الزهد لأحمد:١٢٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَرْحَمَ النَّاسِ [23] بِالصِّبيَانِ وَكَانَ لَهُ ابْنٌ مُسْتَرْضَعٌ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَكَانَ ظِئْرُهُ قَيْنًا وَكَانَ يَأْتِيهِ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ قَدْ دَخَّنَ الْبَيْتَ بِالْإِذْخِرِ فَيَشَمُّهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ»
