[Machine] Indeed, only hunger overtakes me during this month, and I do not satisfy myself except with a mere portion or two portions.  

الزهد لأحمد:١٠٦٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أُوتِيَ بِشَيْءٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْكَبْلُ فَقَالَ مَا نَصْنَعُ بِهَذَا؟ قَالَ إِنَّهُ يُمْرِيكَ قَالَ

إِنَّهُ يَمُرُّ بِيَ الشَّهْرُ مَا أَشْبَعُ إِلَّا الشَّبْعَةَ وَالشَّبْعَتَيْنِ
