Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge from an evil end and the glaoting of enemies.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ سُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأعداء
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge from an evil end and the glaoting of enemies.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ سُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأعداء
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge "from the trouble of affliction, meeting with wretchedness, an evil decree, and the gloating of enemies."
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلاَءِ وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأعداء
Abu Hurayrah (ra) has narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) sought refuge in Allah from the distress of trial, being overtaken by a tribulation, malicious rejoicing of enemies, and perversity of fate.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلاَءِ وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأعداء وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge with Allah from the difficult moment of a calamity and from being overtaken by destruction and from being destined to an evil end, and from the malicious joy of enemies. Sufyan said, "This narration contained three items only, but I added one. I do not know which one that was."
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلاَءِ وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأَعْدَاءِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Take refuge with Allah from the difficulties of severe calamities, from having an evil end and a bad fate and from the malicious joy of your enemies."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلاَءِ وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأَعْدَاءِ
The Prophet [SAW] used to seek refuge from being destined to an evil end, from his enemies rejoicing in his misfortune, from being overtaken by destruction and from the difficult moment of a calamity.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ سُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأَعْدَاءِ وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَجَهْدِ الْبَلاَءِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge from these three things: the intensity of misery, the joy of enemies, the evil of judgments, or the difficulty of calamities.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثِ دَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ أَوْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ
The Prophet [SAW] used to seek refuge from being destined to an evil end, from his enemies rejoicing in his misfortune, from being overtaken by destruction and from the difficult moment of a calamity. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5492)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ وَدَرْكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ» *
