Anas bin Malik said “Safiyyah first fell to Dihyat Al Kalbi, the she fell to the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ.  

أبو داود:٢٩٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

صَارَتْ صَفِيَّةُ لِدِحْيَةَ الْكَلْبِيِّ ثُمَّ صَارَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
