The aforesaid tradition has been transmitted by Al Zuhri through a different chain of narrators. This version adds “Each prayer with an iqamah”. Ahmad reported on the authority of Waki’ “he offered each prayer with a single iqamah.”  

أبو داود:١٩٢٧حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ وَقَالَ بِإِقَامَةٍ إِقَامَةٍ جَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا قَالَ أَحْمَدُ قَالَ

وَكِيعٌ صَلَّى كُلَّ صَلاَةٍ بِإِقَامَةٍ
