The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his Companions performed umrah from al-Ji'ranah and walked proudly with rapid strides round the House (the Ka'bah) in three circuits and walked as usual in four circuits.  

أبو داود:١٨٩٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابَهُ اعْتَمَرُوا مِنَ الْجِعْرَانَةِ فَرَمَلُوا بِالْبَيْتِ ثَلاَثًا وَمَشَوْا أَرْبَعًا
