abudawud:1828 – Mūsá b. Ismāʿīl > Ḥammād > Ayyūb > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar > And Jad al-Qur > Alq ʿAla Thawb Yā Nāfiʿ Faʾalqayt ʿAlayh Burnus

Nafi' said Ibn ‘Umar felt cold and said Throw a garment over me, ‘Nafi. I threw a hooded cloak over him. Thereupon he said Are you throwing this over me when the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ has forbidden those who are in sacred state to wear it?  

أبو داود:١٨٢٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ الْقُرَّ فَقَالَ

أَلْقِ عَلَىَّ ثَوْبًا يَا نَافِعُ فَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْهِ بُرْنُسًا فَقَالَ تُلْقِي عَلَىَّ هَذَا وَقَدْ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَلْبَسَهُ الْمُحْرِمُ
