[Machine] It is mentioned in the Fida' of the captives of Badr that I happened to coincide with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting in the Maghrib prayer and the Surah at-Tur that is written in a parchment spread out. He then took me from his recitation with such pain. This was the first thing I heard about the matter of Islam.  

الطبراني:١٤٩٨حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ جَاءَ فِي فِدَاءِ أُسَارَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ قَالَ فَوَافَقْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالطُّورِ وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ فِي رَقٍّ مَنْشُورٍ قَالَ فَأَخَذَنِي مِنْ قِرَاءَتِهِ كَالْكَرْبِ فَكَانَ ذَلِكَ أَوَّلَ مَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْإِسْلَامِ
