"عَنْ حُجَّيَّةَ بْنِ عَدِىٍّ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إلَى عَلىٍّ فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّ زَوْجَهَا وَقَعَ عَلَى جَارِيَتِهَا فَقَالَ: إِنْ تَكُونِى صَادِقَةً نَرْجُمْهُ، وَإِنْ تَكُونِى كَاذِبَةً نَحُدَّكِ (*) فَذَهَبَتْ".
