"عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ: قَالَ عَلىٌّ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ: أَيْنَ جَهَنَّمُ؟ قَالَ: هِىَ البْحْرُ. فَقَالَ عَلِىٌّ: مَا أَرَاهُ إِلاَّ صَادِقًا، وَقَرَأَ {وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ} {وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ} ".
