nasai:3229 – Muḥammad b. Ismāʿīl b. Ibrāhīm > Yazīd > Ḥammād b. Salamah And Ghayruh > Hārūn b. Riʾāb > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUbayd b. ʿUmayr And ʿAbd al-Karīm > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUbayd b. ʿUmayr > Ibn ʿAbbās ʿAbd al-Karīm Yarfaʿuh > Ibn ʿAbbās Wahārūn Lam Yarfaʿh

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that a man came to the Messenger of Allah and said: "I have a wife who is one of the most beloved of the people to me, but she does not object if anyone touches her." He said: "Divorce her." He said: "I cannot do without her." He said: "Then stay with her as much as you need to."  

النسائي:٣٢٢٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ وَعَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَهَارُونُ لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ قَالاَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ عِنْدِي امْرَأَةً هِيَ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَىَّ وَهِيَ لاَ تَمْنَعُ يَدَ لاَمِسٍ قَالَ طَلِّقْهَا قَالَ لاَ أَصْبِرُ عَنْهَا قَالَ اسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَيْسَ بِثَابِتٍ وَعَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ وَهَارُونُ بْنُ رِئَابٍ أَثْبَتُ مِنْهُ وَقَدْ أَرْسَلَ الْحَدِيثَ وَهَارُونُ ثِقَةٌ وَحَدِيثُهُ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, there is a beautiful woman under my authority who does not refrain from immoral acts. He (the Prophet) said, 'Divorce her.' He (the person) said, 'I cannot bear to do that.' He (the Prophet) said, 'Then keep her.' Abu Abdur-Rahman said, 'This is incorrect, and the correct (answer) is that it is Mursal. Nadar bin Shumail has mixed up the narration. Others have narrated it from Hammad bin Salama, from Haroon bin Ri'ab, and Abdullah bin Ubaidullah. Abdul Karim Al-Mu'allim reported it from Ibn Abbas, and Abdul Karim is not reliable in his narration. Haroon bin Ri'ab is trustworthy, and the narration of Haroon is closer to the correct (answer). And Haroon is the one who sent it."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٥٦٣٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ رِئَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةً جَمِيلَةً لَا تَرُدُّ يَدَ لَامِسٍ قَالَ «طَلِّقْهَا» قَالَ إِنِّي لَا أَصْبِرُ عَنْهَا قَالَ «فَأَمْسِكْهَا» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ مُرْسَلٌ قَدْ خُولِفَ النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ فِيهِ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ رِئَابٍ وَعَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ لَيْسَ بِذَلِكَ الْقَوِيِّ وَهَارُونُ بْنُ رِئَابٍ ثِقَةٌ وَحَدِيثُ هَارُونَ أَوْلَى الصَّوَابِ وَهَارُونُ أَرْسَلَهُ

[Machine] Narrated Ibn Abbas: Abdur Rahman bin Auf said that while he was with Ibn Abbas and Harun, a man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "I have a wife who is most beloved to me, but she does not prevent a hand that touches (for gratification)." He said: "Divorce her." He said: "I cannot bear separation from her." He said: "Enjoy her."
