"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray two brief rak'ahs between the call (the Adhan) and the prayer."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْكَعُ بَيْنَ النِّدَاءِ وَالصَّلاَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ
