[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ rarely showed his face to others. Until the Battle of Tabuk, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and made his intentions known to the people. He wanted the people to prepare their weapons for battle. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became a warrior on Thursday.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٧٣٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَلَّمَا يُرِيدُ وَجْهًا إِلَّا وَرَّى بِغَيْرِهِ حَتَّى كَانَتْ غَزْوَةُ تَبُوكَ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَجَلَّى لِلنَّاسِ فِيهَا أَمْرَهُ وَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَأَهَّبَ النَّاسُ أُهْبَةَ غَزْوِهِمْ فَأَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَازِيًا يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ مُخْتَصَرٌ

[Machine] Rarely did the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , participate in a battle without informing the people about it. Muhammad would not leave any battle without mentioning it, until the Battle of Tabuk. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , then stood and made his intentions clear to the people, wanting them to prepare for their battle equipment.
