muslim:24b – [Chain 1] Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm And ʿAbd b. Ḥumayd > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar [Chain 2] Ḥasan al-Ḥulwānī And ʿAbd b. Ḥumayd > Yaʿqūb Wahū Ibn Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd from my father > Ṣāliḥ > al-Zuhrī Bihadhā al-Isnād > Ghayr

The same hadith is mentioned through a different chain except it ends where it mentions that Allah revealed the verses and it does not mention the verses. There is also a slight variation in words.

مسلم:٢٤b – وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ غَيْرَ

أَنَّ حَدِيثَ صَالِحٍ انْتَهَى عِنْدَ قَوْلِهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ﷻ فِيهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الآيَتَيْنِ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَيَعُودَانِ فِي تِلْكَ الْمَقَالَةِ وَفِي حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ مَكَانَ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ فَلَمْ يَزَالاَ بِهِ
