Anas reported the king of Dumat al-Jandal presented to Messenger of Allah ﷺ the garment and lie made no mention (of the fact) that he prohibited the use of silk.  

مسلم:٢٤٦٩bحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ أُكَيْدِرَ دُومَةِ الْجَنْدَلِ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حُلَّةً فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ
