This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari with a slight variation of wording.  

مسلم:٢٤٠٣b – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْعَتَكِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ حَائِطًا وَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَحْفَظَ الْبَابَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ
