Don't make distinction amongst the Apostles. This hadith has been narrated through another chain of transmitters also.  

مسلم:٢٣٧٤b – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تُخَيِّرُوا بَيْنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ وَفِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي
