This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'id Khudri through another chain of transmitters.  

مسلم:٢٢٩١b – وَحَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ يَعْقُوبَ
