This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Sa'id b. Masruq with the same chain of transmitters with a slight variation of words.  

مسلم:١٩٦٨d – وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّاءَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى آخِرِهِ بِتَمَامِهِ

وَقَالَ فِيهِ وَلَيْسَتْ مَعَنَا مُدًى أَفَنَذْبَحُ بِالْقَصَبِ
