This tradition has been narrated on the authority of Nu'man b. Bashir through another chain of transmitters.  

مسلم:١٨٧٩b – وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلاَّمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ مِنْبَرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي تَوْبَةَ

مسلم:١٧١٧b – وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ كُلُّ هَؤُلاَءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ  

muslim:2191e – al-Qāsim b. Zakariyyāʾ > ʿUbaydullāh b. Mūsá > Isrāʾīl > Manṣūr > Ibrāhīm And Muslim b. Ṣubayḥ > Masrūq > ʿĀʾishah

This hadith has been reported on the authority of 'A'isha through another chain of transmitters with a slight variation of wording.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ وَجَرِيرٍ
