This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Samura through another chain of transmitters.  

مسلم:١٨٢١c – وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ لاَ يَزَالُ أَمْرُ النَّاسِ مَاضِيًا
