This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Huraira with a slight variation of wording.  

مسلم:١٥٧f – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّهْرِيُّ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ وَيُقْبَضُ الْعِلْمُ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
