A hadith like this is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him).  

مسلم:١٥٦٢b – حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ بِمِثْلِهِ

Adi b. 'Amira al-Kindi heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying (as) was narrated in the (above-mentioned) hadith.  

مسلم:١٨٣٣c – وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ عَمِيرَةَ الْكِنْدِيَّ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمْ  

muslim:1921b – Abū Usāmah > Ismāʿīl > Qays > al-Mughīrah b. Shuʿbah
