muslim:1438f – Abū al-Rabīʿ al-Zahrānī And ʾAbū Kāmil al-Jaḥdarī Wa-al-Lafẓ Lʾabī Kāmil > Ḥammād Wahū Ibn Zayd > Ayyūb > Muḥammad > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Bishr b. Masʿūd Raddah > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

There is no harm if you do not do that, for it (the birth of the child) is something ordained. Muhammad (one of the narrators) said: (The words) La 'alaykum (there is no harm) implies its Prohibition.

مسلم:١٤٣٨f – وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ وَاللَّفْظُ لأَبِي كَامِلٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَدَّهُ إِلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ لاَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لاَ تَفْعَلُوا ذَاكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ الْقَدَرُ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَقَوْلُهُ لاَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى النَّهْىِ
