“I heard him when he was among ten of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, one of whom was Abu Qatadah bin Ribʿi, saying: ‘I am the most knowledgeable of you about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he stood up for prayer, he stood up straight and raised his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders, then he said: Allahu Akbar. When he wanted to bow in Rukuʿ, he raised his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders. When he said Samiʿ Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him), he raised his hands and stood up straight. When he stood up after two Rakʿah, he said Allahu Akbar and raised his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders, as he did when he started the prayer.’”

[Machine] I heard Abu Humaid say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he stood up for prayer, would face the qiblah and raise his hands until they were level with his shoulders. He would then say "Allahu Akbar". When he went into ruku', he would say "Allahu Akbar" while he was going into ruku' and raise his hands. He would then straighten his back, without making it stiff or flexing it too much. He would then raise his head and say "Sami Allahu liman hamidah". He would then raise his hands until they were level with his shoulders, and he would straighten himself until all his limbs were in the correct position. He would then do the same in the second raka'ah, until he stood up from the two raka'at and said "Allahu Akbar" and raised his hands as he had done at the beginning of the prayer. When it came time for the prostration, he would raise his head and sit cross-legged.

[Machine] "I heard Abu Humaid Al-Sa'idi mention ten companions of the Prophet ﷺ , among them Abu Qatadah Al-Harith bin Rabee. Abu Humaid said, 'I know the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ,' and then he mentioned the narration in which the Prophet ﷺ raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders when he stood up for prayer, when bowing, and when raising his head from bowing. He said, 'Then when he stood up from the two prostrations, he would say the takbeer and raise his hands until they were level with his shoulders, just as he did when saying the takbeer at the beginning of the prayer. Then he would do the same in the rest of his prayer.' This narration was also reported from Ali ibn Abi Talib from the Prophet ﷺ ."
