ذِكْرُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَمِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ

[Machine] By Allah, I have not seen you since I handed you over to your Saadiyah mother who breastfed you with her full care. Then I took you from her while she was on her camel and she held you up to me, and by Allah, it was only when she stood in front of me that I recognized her.  

ابن حبّان:٧٠١٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ أَنَا وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَدِيِّ بْنِ نَوْفَلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ فِي زَمَنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَأَدْرَبْنَا مَعَ النَّاسِ فَلَمَّا قَفَلْنَا وَرَدْنَا حِمْصَ فَكَانَ وَحْشِيٌّ مَوْلَى جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَدْ سَكَنَهَا وَأَقَامَ بِهَا فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَاهَا قَالَ لِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ هَلْ لَكَ فِي أَنْ نَأْتِيَ وَحْشِيًّا فَنَسْأَلَهُ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَ قَتْلُهُ لَهُ؟ قَالَ فَخَرَجْنَا حَتَّى جِئْنَاهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِفِنَاءِ دَارِهِ عَلَى طِنْفِسَةٍ وَإِذَا هُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ سَلَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَى عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ ابْنٌ لِعَدِيِّ بْنِ الْخِيَارِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ

أَمَا وَاللَّهِ مَا رَأَيْتُكَ مُنْذُ نَاوَلْتُكَ أُمَّكَ السَّعْدِيَّةَ الَّتِي أَرْضَعَتْكَ بِذِي طُوًى فَإِنِّي نَاوَلْتُهَا إِيَّاكَ وَهِيَ عَلَى بَعِيرِهَا فَأَخَذَتْكَ فَلَمَعَتْ لِي قَدَمَاكَ حِينَ رَفَعَتْكَ إِلَيْهَا فَوَاللَّهِ مَا هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْ وَقَفَتْ عَلَيَّ فَرَأَيْتُهَا فَعَرَفْتُهَا
