ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ الْجِرَاحَاتِ الَّتِي أُصِيبَ طَلْحَةُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ مَعَ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ

[Machine] "When the people turned away from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of Uhud, I was the first to come to the Prophet ﷺ. I saw a man in front of him, fighting on his behalf and protecting him. I kept saying, 'May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, Talhah!' Then I looked back and saw a man behind me, as if he were a bird. I did not have the chance to catch up to him. Suddenly, Abu 'Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah appeared, so we handed him over to the Prophet ﷺ. Talhah was unconscious in front of him. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Leave your brother alone, for he is very dear to you.' He said that while Talhah had been hit in the forehead and cheek. I leaned over to remove the arrow from his forehead, but Abu 'Ubaydah said to me, 'I sincerely ask you by Allah, O Abu Bakr, to leave him.' So I left him. Abu 'Ubaydah took hold of the arrow with his mouth and tried not to harm the Prophet ﷺ. Then he took the arrow with his hand. I leaned over to remove the arrow from his cheek, but Abu 'Ubaydah said to me, 'I sincerely ask you by Allah, O Abu Bakr, to leave him.' So he took the arrow with his mouth again and tried not to harm the Prophet ﷺ. Then he took hold of the arrow with his hand. Talhah received around thirty-three wounds, including stabs, blows, and arrows from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ received even more wounds, and Talhah's attack on him was even fiercer."
