ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ الْحَامِلَ الْمُقِرَّةَ بِالزِّنَى عَلَى نَفْسِهَا ثُمَّ وَلَدَتْ يَجِبُ عَلَى الْإِمَامِ التَّرَبُّصُ بِرَجْمِهَا إِلَى أَنْ تَفْطِمَ وَلَدَهَا

Abū Unaysah > ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr > Abū al-Malīḥ al-Hudhalī > Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī > Jāʾat Āmraʾah > Nabī Allāh ﷺ > Qad Aḥdatht Wahī Ḥublá Faʾamarahā Nabī Allāh ﷺ

[Machine] A woman came to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and said, "I have committed adultery while I was pregnant." The Prophet of Allah ﷺ instructed her to go and give birth. After she gave birth, she came back to him and he commanded her to breastfeed the child until she weaned him. She did as she was told and then came back to the Prophet ﷺ . He ordered her to give the child to a group of people. She complied and returned to the Prophet ﷺ , who asked her to whom she had given the child. She informed him that she had given him to a certain person. The Prophet ﷺ then instructed her to take the child back and give him to a different group of people from the Ansar (helpers). Once again, she came back to the Prophet ﷺ , who ordered her to tighten her clothes around herself. Later, the Prophet ﷺ ordered that she be stoned to death. Her body was then shrouded, and the funeral prayer was performed for her before she was buried. The people said, "She was stoned to death, her body was shrouded, and the funeral prayer was performed for her twice." When the news of what the people were saying reached the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "She has repented to such an extent that if her repentance were divided among seventy of the people of Madinah, it would suffice for all of them."  

ابن حبّان:٤٤٤٢أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ

جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ قَدْ أَحْدَثْتُ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى فَأَمَرَهَا نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ تَذْهَبَ حَتَّى تَضَعَ مَا فِي بَطْنِهَا فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْ جَاءَتْ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَذْهَبَ فَتُرْضِعَهُ حَتَّى تَفْطِمَهُ فَفَعَلَتْ ثُمَّ جَاءَتْ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَدْفَعَ وَلَدَهَا إِلَى أُنَاسٍ فَفَعَلَتْ ثُمَّ جَاءَتْ فَسَأَلَهَا إِلَى مَنْ دَفَعَتْ فَأَخْبَرَتْ أَنَّهَا دَفَعْتُهُ إِلَى فُلَانٍ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَأْخُذَهُ وَتَدْفَعَهُ إِلَى آلِ فُلَانٍ نَاسٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ إِنَّهَا جَاءَتْ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَشُدَّ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابَهَا ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ أَمَرَ بِهَا فَرُجِمَتْ ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ كَفَّنَهَا وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ دَفَنَهَا فَقَالَ النَّاسُ رَجَمَهَا ثُمَّ كَفَّنَهَا وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ دَفَنَهَا فَبَلَغَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَا يَقُولُ النَّاسُ فَقَالَ «لَقَدْ تَابَتْ تَوْبَةً لَوْ قُسِمَتْ تَوْبَتُهَا بَيْنَ سَبْعِينَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ لَوَسِعَتْهُمْ»
