ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنِ السَّبَبِ، الَّذِي يَسُبُّ الْمَرْءُ وَالِدَيْهِ بِهِ

ibnhibban:411 – ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. Salm > al-Ḥusayn b. al-Ḥasan > Yaḥyá b. Zakariyyā b. Abū Zāʾidah > Misʿar b. Kidām > Saʿd b. Ibrāhīm > Ḥumayd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One of the major sins is for a person to curse his parents." It was asked, "How can a person curse his parents?" He replied, "He insults people and in doing so, he indirectly curses his parents."  

ابن حبّان:٤١١ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مِنَ الْكَبَائِرِ أَنْ يَسُبَّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ» قِيلَ وَكَيْفَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ؟ قَالَ «يَتَعَرَّضُ لِلنَّاسِ فَيَسُبُّ وَالِدَيْهِ»
