ذِكْرُ مَا فَعَلَ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ بِبُدُنِهِ الْمَنْحُورَةِ عِنْدَ إِرَادَتِهِ أَكَلَ بَعْضِهَا

ibnhibban:4020Ḥāmid b. Muḥammad b. Shuʿayb al-Balkhī > Surayj b. Yūnus > Sufyān > Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad from his father > Jābir

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that a piece from every camel that had been slaughtered be brought and placed in a pot, then they ate from its meat and drank some of the broth. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3158)   

ابن حبّان:٤٠٢٠أَخْبَرَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِالْهَدْيِ مِنْ كُلِّ جَزُورٍ بَضْعَةٍ فَجُعِلَتْ فِي قَدْرٍ فَأَكَلُوا مِنَ اللَّحْمِ وَحَسَوْا مِنَ الْمَرَقِ»
